Job Description

This Task Order is a new requirement which supports Combat Air Forces (CAF) Command and Control, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) and Rescue squadrons in locations in Air Combat Command (ACC) and US European (USEUCOM) locations. The squadrons operations support functions provide skills in positions such as Scheduling, Operations Training support, Standardizations & Evaluations (Stan/Eval) support, Unit Deployment Manager (UDM), Non-Aviation Programs & Readiness (NPR), Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO).

The focus of work will be done to support non-flying duties in C2ISR and Rescue squadrons that traditionally utilized pilots, navigators, and Air Battle Managers to fill as additional duties.

This effort will have multiple positions at the following locations:

Offutt AFB, NE

Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ

Tinker AFB, OK

Dyess AFB, TX

Hill AFB, UT

Mountain Home AFB, ID

Robins AFB, GA

Beale AFB, CA

Grand Forks AFB, ND

Moody AFB, GA

Nellis AFB, NV

Shaw AFB, SC

Tyndall AFB, FL

Kadena AB, Japan

RAF Mildenhall, UK

Souda Bay, Greece

Education

While no education requirement is listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS); an Associate’s degree is highly desired, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

Scheduling Support –

Two years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler.

Two years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary scheduling program.

Two years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products in an operational squadron.

 

Operations Training Support –

Minimum two years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary scheduling program.

Minimum two years of experience working with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint.

Minimum two years of experience working in a squadron, group, or wing training program or five years of experience working in a DoD flying squadron, group, or wing training program.

 

Standards & Evaluation (Stan/Eval) Support –

Minimum of two years of experience working in a Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval shop or, five years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval office.

Minimum two years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary Stan/Eval programs.

 

Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Support –

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Squadron level or higher Information System Security Office. Must be a U.S citizen

 

Non-Aviation Programs & Readiness (NPR) Support –

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a squadron-level or higher commanders, directors, etc. support staff.

 

Unit Deployment Manager –

Minimum 1 year experience working in a squadron-level or higher mobility office.

 

Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Manager Support –

Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting and loading software on computers at a minimum of squadron level.

 

Note:  All positions will require at least a Secret DoD security clearance.  Some positions will have a higher security clearance requirement.  Due to the length of time it takes to obtain a DoD security clearance; only candidates with an active/current security clearance will be considered.
