Job Description

Sonoran Technology has been working on the Command & Control, Contract Academic Training, Courseware Development, Distance Learning (C2/CAT/CWD/DL) contract for several years now at multiple locations throughout the U.S. and Europe.  We are seeking a qualified individual to fill an immediate requirement for a BCC/AOC Courseware Developer/Subject Matter Expert, at our Tyndall AFB, FL location.

The C2 contract provides contract academic training, courseware development, distance learning services, training system support/mission system interface, and staff support services to the Control and Reporting Center (CRC), Battle Control Center (BCC), Air Operations Center (AOC) missions at various locations in ACC, ANG, AETC, USAFE, and PACAF; and for ACC/A3CG at Langley AFB, VA.

The Battle Control Centers (BCC), also known as the Air Defense Sectors, are responsible to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the Continental NORAD Region for peacetime air sovereignty, strategic air defense, and airborne counter-drug operations in the continental United States.

Contractor personnel will produce, update and revise classified and unclassified BCC, and/or Air Operations Centers (AOC) courseware to support academic and training device instruction, and crewmember duty/mission generated training requirements.

Currently, we don’t have any vacancies, but we are accepting resumes for all positions.

Education

Associate’s degree minimum with completed courses in test and measurement applications, statistics, and psychology of learning.

Desired: Bachelor’s degree in related field of study.

Experience

Required: 1) Five years developing courseware and/or instructor/education experience required. The Government may approve substitution of equivalent military and /or civilian experience for required qualifications. 2) Attended a recognized instructor school or has an education degree or teaching credentials targeted to platform instruction. 3) Associate’s degree minimum with completed courses in test and measurement applications, statistics, psychology of learning, ISD applications, curriculum and instructional development, evaluation design application and theory, and computer based instructional design applications with 10 years experience. 4) Seven years experience with the Air Defense network. 5) Proficient with current Microsoft Office and Windows OS IAW ACC Standard configuration. 6) Strong oral communications and writing skills are necessary.
