Job Description

Team Sonoran is providing Command & Control/Contract Academic Training/Courseware Development/Distance Learning (C2/CAT/CWD DL) support to the Air Force at multiple locations. This contract provides training system support/mission system interface, and staff support services to the Control and Reporting Center (CRC), Battle Control Center (BCC), Air Operations Center (AOC) missions at various locations in ACC, AETC, USAFE, and PACAF to include McChord AFB WA, Rome, NY; Mt. Home, AFB ID; Hill AFB UT; Tyndall AFB FL; Elmendorf AFB, AK; Spangdahlem AB, Germany; and Langley AFB, VA.

The specific tasks for this contract are divided into five categories: 1) MAJCOM/Unit Staff Support (includes Distributed Mission Operations), 2) CRC Contract Academic Training, 3) Courseware Development, 4) Distance Learning Services, and 5) Training System Support/Mission System Interface.

1. MAJCOM/Unit Staff Support (includes Distributed Mission Operations) – HQ ACC/A3C requires on-going operational services to improve organizational policy development, program and/or project management and administration, provide technical and analytical tools, and improve the operation of systems supporting the mission.

2. CRC Contract Academic Training (CAT). The contractor shall conduct academic and training device instruction in support of formal course syllabi, training plans, event lesson plans, and training device instruction for course students at the Control and Report Center (CRC) formal training unit (FTU), 607ACS, Luke AFB, AZ.

3. Courseware Development. Contractor personnel will produce, update and revise classified and unclassified Control Reporting Centers (CRC), Battle Control Centers (BCC), and/or Air Operations Centers (AOC) courseware to support academic and training device instruction, and crewmember duty/mission generated training requirements.

4. Distant Learning (DL) Architecture. The contractor will provide the most effective DL architecture required to deploy, manage, and assess a web-based training environment in both synchronous (real time, on-line) and asynchronous (on-demand, off-line) delivery systems.

5. Training System Support/Mission System Interface: The CRC has come to depend upon distributed mission operations (DMO) as an essential mission ready training capability. The DMO Simulations Systems of the CRC in an Air Control Squadron (ACS) consists of a set of equipment that is a very unique and in some cases consists of proprietary hardware, firmware and software. To obtain optimal use of DMO capability a training system support/mission system interface position is needed.

Currently, we do not have any openings, but we are accepting resumes for any future openings at all locations.

Education

The minimum educational level for these positions vary. Some positions will require an Associate’s degree, while other positions will require a Bachelor’s degree. Several positions will require various levels of certification and/or experience along with the required educational level. Interested parties will receive a copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) which outlines the educational and experience requirements.

Experience

Experience requirements vary by position. As mentioned above, this contract has five (5) categories of effort to accomplish the mission. Each category has several sub-categories of positions. For the most part, a solid background in Command & Control (C2) and/or a strong background in courseware/curriculum development is essential.

As mentioned above, interested parties will receive a copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) which outlines the scope of this contract as well as the duties, requirements and locations of each position contained in the contract.

All personnel will require an active/current DoD Secret clearance as a minimum, with several positions requiring a Top Secret clearance.
