Job Description

Team Sonoran is currently performing the F-16 Weapons System Support Contract (WSSC), located at Luke AFB, AZ and Holloman AFB, NM. This contract supports the F-16 aircrews, and includes the following positions: F-16 Instructor/Subject Matter Experts (I/SMEs), Security Managers & Monitors, Courseware Managers, Computer System Analysts, Computer Repair Technicians, Graduate Training Integration Management Systems (GTIMS) Managers/Database Administrators/Programming Analysts/Syllabus Developers/Associates, and IT Specialists.

 

Currently, we do not have any vacancies at either location.  However, we are always accepting resumes for potential future openings.

Education

While a HS Diploma is the minimum requirement, certain positions require a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum along with successful completion of specific courses and/or certifications.

Experience

F-16 Instructor/Subject Matter Expert (I/SME) – Minimum of 500 hours experience in the F-16 or comparable fighter aircraft as a pilot, preferably within the past 10 years.  Previously qualified as an instructor pilot.  Individuals with a SEAD background are highly preferred.

Courseware Development (CWD) Manager – Bachelor’s degree in education or related discipline with a minimum of 18 hours of undergraduate credit in areas of instructional methodology, tests and measurement, educational psychology, curriculum development, or learning theory.  Demonstrated experience in the field of fighter Formal Training Unit (FTU) Instructional System Development (ISD) may be substituted for educational qualifications.  One year experience in curriculum development, and previous experience in design and production of ISD materials is required.

Security Manager/Area Security Monitor – 3 years experience in the implementation and management of security procedures, secure facilities and handling of classified material consistent with the DoD security regulations.  3 years experience in processing background investigations, security paperwork, administrative computer data entry, and the use of security devices consistent with DoD security regulations.  Note:  The Area Security Monitor position requires 1 year of experience in the above areas.

Computer Systems Analyst (CSA) – Minimum of Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science or similar field, and no less than two years system analysis-related experience.  Thoroughly familiar with Microsoft operating systems.  Proficient in web development (HTML, JavaScript, and action script) and web development tools (Adobe Studio or Microsoft Visual Studio).  Familiar with Computer Based Training (CBT) authoring software and training programs.  In depth knowledge of “state of the art” computer hardware and software.  Proficient in database development and modification using current relational database software.  Able to recommend database solutions, integrate and resolve problems with legacy databases, and train database end users.  Good understanding of HTML & XTML programming.

Computer Repair Technician (CRT) – Minimum of an Associates Degree in Computer Electronics, Science, Technology, or similar field with heavy emphasis on computer Local Area Networking (LAN).  No less than 2 years current applied verifiable advanced computer and LAN experience.  With no formal education, a minimum of 4 years of verifiable advanced computer and LAN experience. Familiar with all current Operating Systems (OS) and proficient with Windows and NT platforms.  Good understanding of basic network administration and maintenance on connections to include cabling and hubs.  Able to work to circuit card and Central Processing Unit (CPU) level on IBM type Personal Computer or Multi-CPU servers.  formidable knowledge of Interrupt Request (IRQ), Memory and Input/Output (IO) deconfliction for audiovisual peripheral.  Possess the DoD8570 approved baseline certification.

GTIMS Manager – Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business related, (or 10 years of military training experience).  2 years of Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) programming.  Possess the DoD 8570 approved baseline certification.

GTIMS Database Administrator – Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or 5 years of military related experience).  Minimum 5 years of directly related (report writing and database) experience.  2 years Microsoft SQL programming, familiar with Report Writing Software, familiar with ASP, VBScript, Java, and JavaScript programming.  Possess the DoD 8570 approved baseline certification.

GTIMS Programming Analyst – Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or 5 years of military related experience).  Minimum of 5 years of directly related (report writing and database) experience.  2 years Microsoft SQL programming, 2 years experience with Report Writing Software, and 1 year (ASP, VBScript, Java, JavaScript) programming experience.  Possess the DoD 8570 approved Baseline Certification.

GTIMS Syllabus Developer – Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business related (or 5 years of military related experience).  2 years SQL programming experience.  5 years database entry experience.  Possess the DoD 8570 approved baseline certification.

GTIMS Squadron Associate – 3 years Microsoft Product Application experience.  2 years of scheduling experience.  2 years GTIMS experience.

Information Technology Specialist (Security) – 5 to 7 years experience in Information Systems/Computer Security and provide multi-disciplined technical security support in SAP/SCI environment.  Must be DoD 8570 compliant, Information Assurance Technician Level 2.  Must have extensive knowledge of JAFAN 6/3 and JAFAN 6/3 Implementation Guide.

Area Security Monitor – 1 year experience in the implementation and management of security procedures, secure facilities, and handling of classified material consistent with DoD security regulations.  1 year experience in processing background investigations, security paperwork, administrative computer data entry, and the use of security devices consistent with DoD security regulations.  Security clearance background investigation within the past 5 years.
