Job Description

Sonoran Technology is currently performing on the F-16 Weapons System Support (WSS) contract with work at both Holloman AFB, NM; and Luke AFB, AZ.  We are accepting resumes to fill an immediate need for an Information Technology Specialist with a strong Security background.

Duties:

The contractor shall perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of new or existing Special Access Program network infrastructures.

Designs, interprets, formulates, installs, conducts research and maintains internal data processing computer systems, servers and utilities. Implements specialized procedures to meet specific computer security technology requirements for various classified programs. Performs analysis of network security, based upon applicable directives, procedures, and regulations.

The contractor shall ensure that personnel accessing information systems have the proper and current information assurance certification to perform information assurance functions in accordance with applicable directive, procedures, and regulations.

Additional details exist concerning the duties performed in this position.  A copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided upon receipt of a resume.

Education

While a HS Diploma is the minimum educational requirement; there are certain IT educational/training certifications required.

Experience

5 to 7 years experience in Information Systems/Computer Security and provide multi-disciplined technical security support in SAP/SCI environment.  Must be DoD 8570 compliant, Information Assurance Technician Level 2.  Must have extensive knowledge of JAFAN 6/3 and JAFAN 6/3 Implementation Guide.

Must be able to demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills as well as resilient organizational and time management attributes.  Must be able to perform highly complex problem solving tasks, demonstrate exceptional decision making skills and make comprehensive sound recommendations to senior leadership and management to resolve challenging issues.  Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and programs.

Must be able to handle high stress in a fast paced work environment and work well under pressure to meet mission training requirements. Ability to utilize and build required documentation from MS Office suite. Must be able to apply critical thinking and leadership skills.

Must possess an active/current DoD Secret security clearance.
