Job Description | Sonoran Technology is partnering in an attempt to win the MC-12 Aircrew Support contract, with work at the 137th Special Operations Wing at Will Rogers Air National Guard base in Oklahoma City, OK. If we win, we will be providing support to JAVAMAN Tactical System Operators (TSOs) on MC-12 aircraft located at the Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, OK. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) requires contract aircrew, scheduling, registrar, and Opposing Force/Mission Rehearsal Trainers (OPFOR/MRT) support for the JAVAMAN TSOs. This contract will allow competent personnel to absorb non-flying duties in order to remove some workload from flying personnel in short-manned career fields.
We are accepting resumes from individuals with the following skill-sets along with a brief description for each position: MC-12 Pilots – Aircrew providing a customer-focused airborne training environment for Tactical System Operator (TSO) Mission Qualification Training (MQT) and Continuation Training (CT) including mission planning, mission pre-briefs, sortie execution and debrief and post-mission documentation. MC-12 Sensor Operators – Aircrew providing a customer-focused airborne training environment for Tactical System Operator (TSO) Mission Qualification Training (MQT) and Continuation Training (CT) including mission planning, mission pre-briefs, sortie execution and debrief and post-mission documentation.
Opposing Force/Mission Rehearsal Trainers (OPFOR/MRT) – Must provide support for training mission locations as required by the specific scenario. Missions are normally conducted within 160 miles of Will Rogers World Airport. The contractor may be required to perform mission support at other locations that require overnight stay in field conditions for multiple days. Training scenarios may be accomplished on military bases, military training ranges, within military operating areas, and within local civilian areas (i.e. cities, towns, counties, parks, etc.).
Scheduler – Provide scheduling support for all academic, static aircraft, flight line, and any range support requirements. Schedules training events on a daily, weekly, or as needed basis utilizing available resources.
Registrar – Provide registrar support to conduct support in accordance with local operating instructions. Directs and coordinates registration activities while consulting with other officials to devise registration schedules and procedures.

Education | Pilots must have a minimal of a Bachelor’s Degree All other positions must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, while some college is desired

Experience | Requirements for MC-12 Pilots: FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and the appropriate category and class ratings 1,000 MP hours (all aircraft flown) 300 in similar type aircraft Medical: Must possess FAA Class III flight physical or military equivalent “Secret” Security Clearance
Requirements for MC-12 Sensor Operators: Must have 500 hours in the position they are qualifying in of which 100 hours must be in the same aircraft category. Medical: Must possess FAA Class III flight physical or military equivalent “Secret” Security Clearance
Requirements for Opposing Force/Mission Rehearsal Trainers (OPFOR/MRT): Must have experience in operating Microsoft Windows based operating systems and Microsoft Office programs in order to develop CONOPs Mandatory experience in coordinating and planning full mission SOCOM combat profiles Must have recent—within last 7 years—special operations team task force combat experience and knowledge of integrating joint firepower (i.e. ground based lethal fires, CAS, and non-lethal kinetics) and manned ISR platforms Be familiar with military command and control structures within SOCOM Must possess a valid civilian driver’s license and be able to hold a valid military driver’s license for the military vehicle(s) to be operated under various conditions Be familiar with operating tactical portable communications equipment and radios in various VHF and UHF encrypted frequency bands Be familiar with scheduling and working on military training areas and ranges Must have the physical capabilities (be able to lift and carry at least sixty [60] pounds) and run—continuously without stopping—distances in excess of 400 meters to perform ground-based air support team duties. “Secret” Security Clearance may be required for this position
Requirements for Scheduler Support position: Must be able to use current scheduling tools utilized by the 137 SOW flying unit, such as Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and GDSS. Highly Desired – 3 years of unit level current operations or similar experience “Secret” Security Clearance may be required for this position
Requirements for Registrar Support position: Must have experience with MILPDS and be capable of using Government provided systems/software (e.g., PEX, GDSS, etc) Highly Desired – 2 years of unit level registrar/current operations or similar experience “Secret” Security Clearance may be required for this position
