Job Description

Team Sonoran is currently looking for qualified individuals for the upcoming RQ-4 & U-2/T-38 Contract Aircrew Training (CAT) and Courseware Development (CWD) contract located at Beale AFB, CA and Grand Forks AFB, ND. This contract supports the RQ-4 “Global Hawk”, U-2 “Dragon Lady”, and U-2/T-38 Companion Trainer Program and Courseware Development.

Education

While a HS Diploma is the minimum requirement, certain positions require a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum along with successful completion of specific courses and/or certifications.

Experience

Each of the positions have specific experience and/or educational/certification requirements. Below is a brief depiction of those experience and/or educational requirements. RQ-4 Pilot Instructor Qualifications:

– Previous experience as a Global Hawk/Triton instructor pilot (IP), or
– Previous experience as an IP in other aircraft with 1000 hours total pilot flying time (not including SUPT or joint undergraduate NAV training time) of which 150 hours are Global Hawk/Triton (not including “other” time), or
– Previous experience as an IP in other aircraft with 500 hours Global Hawk/Triton (not including “other” time).
– All IP candidates shall meet AFI 11-2RQ-4, Volume 1, Chapter 2, Instructor Pilot Prerequisites prior to certification as an RQ-4 IP.
– All IP candidates must complete a formal Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) course within 6 months after start of training as an instructor. Completion of the Air Combat Command Classroom Instructor Course or MAJCOM equivalent satisfies the CRI requirement.

RQ-4 Sensor Operator (SO) Instructor Qualifications:

– Previous experience as an RQ-4 Sensor Operator Instructor.
– Pass and maintain the FAA Class III and/or Air Force flight physical requirements.
– All instructor SO (ISO) candidates shall meet AFI 11-2RQ-4, Volume 1, Chapter 2, Instructor SO prerequisites prior to certification as an RQ-4 ISO.
– Must complete a formal Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) course within 6 months after start of training as an instructor. Completion of the Air Combat Command Classroom Instructor Course or MAJCOM equivalent satisfies the CRI requirement.
