Job Description

Sonoran Technology is accepting resumes from individuals with an IT/Helpdesk background, for a contract we’re administering to at Whiteman AFB, MO. This is an ideal opportunity for a separated/retired AF member.

Duties include: Maintain, troubleshoot, configure and repair IT equipment, software, user accounts, wireless networks, cabling and other network infrastructure. Other duties include performing hardware/software inventory management, as well as planning & executing IT activities and projects.

Currently, we don’t have any vacancies, but we are accepting resumes.

Education

HS Diploma as a minimum, but certain DoD training/certifications are required (described below).

Experience

Must have at least 2 years IT support experience . This experience includes a background in configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of IT equipment, networks, devices, etc.

Candidates must have DoD Instruction 8570.01-M Information Assurance Training & Certification CompTIA A+ awarded within the past two years, and must have a current/valid Favorable Federal government background check, or DoD Clearance.
