Job Description

Metro Accounting and partnering company Sonoran Technology has been working on the Unit Support Services contract at Moody AFB, GA since mid-September, 2017.  In order to maintain a healthy candidate queue, we continue to accept resumes from the following skillsets:  Unit Deployment Managers, Unit Training Managers, Administrative Assistants.

  • Contractor Unit Deployment Manager (UDM). The UDM shall be responsible for the readiness of unit personnel and equipment responsibilities to include all Squadron TDYs, Flag Exercises, contingency taskings, Area of Responsibility (AOR) deployments and individual augmentee deployments. The UDM shall ensure mobility requirements, scheduling, programming, and Unit Type Codes (UTCs) for personnel and equipment ready for tasked movements. Effective checklist usage and record-keeping are essential to providing the required continuity in a dynamic work environment.

 

  • Contractor Unit Training Manager (UTM). The UTM shall be responsible for the management and monitoring of all aspects of unit personnel ground/flight training, upgrade and certification training. The UTM shall ensure that unit personnel have received all required training for peacetime/contingency/deployment operations and schedule/accomplish required training to comply with new or unique requirements. The UTM shall be required to produce periodic reports on the training and attend all meetings related to training functions. Effective checklist usage, record-keeping, and a high level of attention to detail are essential to success in this dynamic and fluid work environment.

 

  • The Administrative Assistance will serve as the primary point of contact to the assigned squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs such as task management, Government Travel Card Program, Drug Demand Reduction Program, Health Care Program, Fitness Program, Government Purchase Card Program, Automated Data Processing Equipment accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program, etc.

Education

While a HS Diploma is the minimum requirement, at least some college is preferred.

Experience

The contract personnel shall have the appropriate training and background to be able to perform responsibilities as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Training of contract personnel on the use of the data system is a computer based program and completion is required to support the Government requirements of this contract.

Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) – The UDM must possess knowledge of principles, policies, and procedures of Air Force mobility programs; training requirements; mobility computer systems and products; reporting procedures; Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) requirements; and the buildup and marshalling of equipment to the Cargo Deployment Function (CDF).

For entry into this position, completion of high school or general educational development equivalency is mandatory. Competence with computer systems is essential. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Microsoft Access experience is highly desired, but not required and logistics background is preferred.

Individual shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a Unit Deployment Manager or equivalent military experience directly related to unit mobility responsibilities. Completion of a military Logistics Planner course is preferred.

An active/current Secret D0D clearance is required for this position.

 

Unit Training Manager (UTM) – The UTM must have knowledge directly related to Air Force training program management.

For entry into this position, completion of high school or general educational development equivalency is mandatory. Competence with computer systems is essential. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Microsoft Access experience is highly desired, but not required.

Individual will have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a training manager or have military experience directly related to unit training responsibilities.

 

Administrative Assistant – Candidate must have a minimum of at least one year of related experience in a data entry environment and 48 college accredited semester hours or have a minimum of at least three years of related experience in a data entry environment and a high school diploma. 

Be familiar with using a personal computer and be familiar with Microsoft computer software applications.

 

Individuals with recent prior administrative experience in a military setting as a military member or civilian employee/contractor are preferred.

Note:  All positions will require possession of at least a Federal Background Check with Favorable results received.  An active/current DoD security clearance will also satisfy this requirement.  Due to the length of time it takes to conduct a Federal Background Check, preference will be given to individuals who already meet this requirement.
