Job Description

Sonoran Technology and our teaming partner have been working on the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Aircrew Instruction Support contract with multiple locations, which  Sonoran has positions at both Hurlburt Field – FL and Cannon AFB – NM.  This contract provides services to the Air Force customer in the areas of on-site contract instructor support for the 492nd Special Operations Wing (SOW) training operations.  Support areas include fixed wing aircrew instruction, fixed wing flight instruction, and remotely piloted aircraft (RPA), aircrew instruction, fixed wing similar instruction, and weapon system leads for specific mission design series (MDS) aircraft or location.

We are hiring for and currently accepting resumes from candidates who have aircrew instructor experience for the following locations associated with the aircraft at those locations:

Hurlburt Field, FL – MC130H Air-frame – No Current Vacancies

Hurlburt Field, FL – AC-130J Air-frame – No Current Vacancies

Hurlburt Field, FL – U-28 Air-frame – No Current Vacancies

Cannon AFB, NM – AC-130W Air-frame – No Current Vacancies

Cannon AFB, NM – MC-130J Air-frame –  Instructor Pilot / SME

 

 

 

Education

Although a High School diploma is the minimal requirement, some college and an Associates or Bachelors Degree is desired

Experience

Program Manager (PM) position requirements:

Due to the diverse nature and multiple locations of this requirement, the Government desires a single point of contact for company obligation decisions. This person will be indirect labor and not required onsite, but must be location within thirty (30) minutes of Hurlburt Field. The PM will ensure the technical solutions and schedules in the requirement are implemented in a timely manner. Must possess proven management skills and be able to make corporate decisions with respect to manning and onsite personnel decisions. AFSOC/SOF experience is highly desired.

 

MDS Training Integrator position requirements:

– Ten (10) years of AFSOC experience, of which seven (7) years employing AFSOC aircraft

– Former AFSOC aircrew instructor.

Highly desirable, but not required:

– Two (2) years of AFSOC/AETC Formal Training Unit experience

– MAJCOM or higher staff tour

 

Security Clearance requirements:

A “Secret” clearance is required for the AC-130J at Hurlburt Field, C-146 at Duke Field, and Cannon AFB.

A “Top Secret” clearance is required for the U-28 at Hurlburt Field, FL.
