Job Description

Sonoran Technology and our teaming partner have been working on the Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) Staff Support contract with the location at Joint Base Langley-Eustis for Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) for the Air Force.  This contract provides service to ACC C2ISR primarily supporting the Air Operations Center (AOC), Control and Reporting Center (CRC), Battle Control Center (BCC), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS), Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), E-11 Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN), and Airborne Reconnaissance Operations.  The objective of this task order is to provide support to ACC/A3C to accomplish the ACC Director of Operations (ACC/A3) responsibility to Organize, Train and Equip the Combat Air Force (CAF).

We are currently hiring the following position:

Airborne C2 Functional Management and Technical Requirements – Develop, review, and coordinate Combined, Joint, AF, Multi-Service doctrine and regulations relative to BMC2 concepts and Airborne C2 weapon systems and draft proper response.  Coordinate weapon system enhancements and assist in defining modernization requirements to support current/future weapon system upgrades, training, sustainment, and employment.  Support Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) document development and review for Airborne C2 systems. Ensure training and operations are represented throughout the JCIDS document development process.  Actively participate in and support Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and working groups during all phases of the acquisitions, modification and test process of all of Airborne C2 systems and training devices. Coordinate with branch leadership to recommend A3C’s position.  4.4.2.8 Assist leadership and FAM with E-11, E-3, and E-8 readiness program to include Unit Type Codes (UTCs) and Unit Manpower Documents (UMDs). Assist with the readiness program to include, but not limited to utilizing Time Phased Force Deployment Documents (TPFDD), AEF Reporting Tool (ART) Reporting, Status of Resources and Training (SORTS), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Designed Operational Capability Statements, Mission Capabilities Statements and weapons system test support and Joint ILO requirements. Analyze the data presented by units; identify trends and shortfalls and brief possible solutions to leadership as required.

Airborne C2 Training and Programming Support – Develop, review and coordinate E3, E-8 and E-11 Instructions and policy (AFI 11-2E-3/8/11 Vols 1, 2, 3) with the operational unit, COCOM, MAJCOM, and HAF.  Review and coordinate on E3, E-8 and E-11 policy and technical orders (AFTTP 3-1, Technical Orders).  Develop, review, and coordinate Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) Tasking Messages (RTMs) and reports.  Review, coordinate and prepare response for Safety Investigation Boards (SIB)/Accident Investigation Boards (AIB).  Identify and articulate requirements, document deficiencies, and provide recommended solutions for E-11, E-3, and E-8 Aircrew Training programs. Review, develop, prepare and publish ACC training guidance. Provide analysis for Initial Qualification and Mission Qualification timelines, flying hour requirements, and simulator requirements.
