Job Description

Sonoran Technology and its teaming partners have been working on the contract for the E-3 Mission Crew Training (MCT)/Dragon contract at Tinker AFB, OK. We continue to accept resumes from qualified individuals with a background in mission crew training with emphasis on the E-3 aircraft. This contract provides services to the Air Force customer in the areas of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Replacement of Avionics for Global Operations and Navigation (DRAGON) Flight Deck Training. These efforts include Contract Instructor Academic Instruction, Aircrew Training Device (ATD) Instruction, Flight Instruction, Courseware Development, Aircrew ATD event scheduling, and support functions. In addition, it will include exercise director, simulator operator support, and scenario
development for the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and in support of the 752 Operational Support Squadron (OSS) Control and Reporting Center (CRC).

 

We are current accepting resumes for Air Battle Managers at this time.  Here are the responsibilities for the Air Battle Manager position:

a) Manage academic programs (i.e., configuration control) to comply with Air Force Manuals (AFMANs), Air Force Handbooks (AFHs), and Air Force Instructions (AFIs). Issue any lesson-related student materials.
b) Perform academic instruction as required by the applicable syllabi or training plans.
c) Review the learning objectives with students in preparation for their tests. Administer and score examinations.
d) Provide remedial instruction of academic lessons to students who have missed class or have failed an examination.
e) Generate and maintain Student Training Folders during the academic and simulator phase of instruction. Student folders will be maintained electronically within Patriot Excalibur (PEX) software as a primary
f) Maintain lesson courseware and continuity folders for each course taught.
g) Review each applicable student’s grade book prior to brief.
h) Prepare students to perform the scheduled event.

Education

This position will require a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in an Education discipline

Experience

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of four years’ experience as a qualified 13B (i.e. AWO, ECO, ASO, SD, or MCC, ABM qualified) or previously cross-trained contract instructor within previous two years.
Have at least three years’ experience as a qualified instructor in a Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3) or Battle Control System-type system (i.e. 40/45, Tyndall BC3, CRC, Sectors, etc.).
Must have at least two years of E-3 experience.
Completed a formal instructor methodology (CRI/POI) course or complete one within one year after hire.
Practical experience with courseware development. Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.

Desired Qualifications:

Air Battle Management experience
