Job Description

Sonoran Technology is providing Command & Control/Contract Academic Training/Courseware Development/Distance Learning (C2/CAT/CWD DL) support to the Air Force at multiple locations. This contract provides training system support/mission system interface, and staff support services to the Control and Reporting Center (CRC) at various locations to include Luke AFB, AZ.  Additional positions are in the process of being added, and we are currently accepting resumes to fill the following position:

 

Control and Reporting Center Training System Support/Mission System Interface (CRC TSS/MSI) – Expert advisor and liaison on CSP system operations, mission system interface, and training related issues in support of all DMO squadron training to unit personnel. The contractor will also assist with interfacing the CSP system with various DMON/ARCNET and associated local CRC systems. Must be knowledgeable with all individual CSP and related mission training support equipment, and the interrelation among these items.

The contractor will also be the Unit DMON and ARCNET expert (site standards, setup procedures, security, operation and troubleshooting, etc.) for external C2 DMO events including daily training with a single weapons system, specific C2 platform scenarios, exercises including  joint integration training, Virtual Flag exercises, and other evolving multi-platform large force DMO specific mission training scenarios.

Oversee System Modifications During the acceptance period of major hardware or software modifications and upgrades, the contract position will analyze systems changes to determine if the overall system is mission ready. Helps identify and document any system deficiencies or areas for potential enhancement.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or; An associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or; 11 years of recent specialized experience working with the Control and Reporting Center Simulation Package (CSP)/Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) system and/or CRC mission systems (AN/TYQ-23(V)5 Operations Modules (OM), AN/TSC-147 Joint Tactical Interface Distribution Systems (JTIDS) Modules (JMs), AN/TPK-1(V) Surveillance Radar, Non-Organic Radar Access (NORA) system, Joint Range Extension (JRE) Transparent Multi-Platform Gateway (TMPG) Equipment Package (JTEP))

Experience

 

Required:

At least three years of practical experience working with Distributed Mission Operations scheduling and setup of simulation equipment for exercises

 

Desired:

Experience working with simulation equipment and/or virtual technologies in other areas of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) and/or Fighter or Bomber aircraft;.

Specialized training and experience in operations or maintenance of other command and control mission systems;

12 months experience with TYQ-23A, BCS-K, BC3-E, or BC3-T.
