Job Description:
Sonoran Technology & Professional Services is currently performing E-3 Mission Crew training MCT) for Contract Aircrew Training and Courseware Development (CWD) on a contract we have at Tinker AFB, OK. Our mission is to perform E-3 MCT to include CWD, academic instruction, Aircrew Training Device (ATD) instruction, simulator operator support, scenario development, mission crew ATD event scheduling, and support functions. We currently have an opening for the following position:
Contractor Flight Engineer Flight Instructor
Provide inflight instruction for the E-3 aircraft. These individuals will be required to provide flight instruction for ABM, and students, as well as maintain currency in their respective aircraft models.
Contract Flight Instructors will be required to conduct formal training in accordance with ACC-approved syllabi and perform the following CONUS sortie flight requirements:
Review each applicable student's grade book and specific sortie syllabus requirements prior to mission planning.
Supervise and assist students in preparation of required mission planning paperwork as well as completion of post mission paperwork.
Conduct a thorough event crew pre-brief and student pre-brief for all flight events IAW the approved training sortie pre-briefing guide to prepare students to perform the scheduled event.
Accomplish 100% of the specified flight event tasks during the sortie, unless lack of student progress or maintenance problems will not allow completion. Non-effective training sorties will be rescheduled. The 966 AACS may approve training designated work-a-rounds due to sortie non-availability or syllabus deviations due to limited sortie profile.
Instruct students in-flight in such a manner that with normal student progression the end-of-course level of proficiency will be met.
Critique students verbally on all errors committed during the training.
Instruct students in techniques and corrective procedures to help students avoid repetition of errors.
Conduct a thorough event debrief for all sortie events. All syllabus required items shall be covered.

Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
The following qualifications are requirements for personnel employed as CFE Flight Instructors:
a. Previous instructor experience in E-3 any variant model in the last three years.
b. More than 1,500 flying hours in aircraft listed above.
c. Previous flight evaluator experience in aircraft listed above.
d. Previous receiver in-flight refueling experience.
e. Pass and maintain FAA Class II Physical Examination annually.
f. Must complete a formal CRI course within six months after starting of training as an instructor. Completion of the ACC CIC or MAJCOM equivalent satisfies the CRI requirement.
g. Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
The following qualifications are desired:
a. Previous E-3 flight instructor experience in last two (2) years.
b. More than 500 instructor flying hours in aircraft listed above.
c. Possess Flight Engineer FAA Certification
